### New Jersey State Mandate

*NJ Senate Bill 2986*

On June 11th, 2019, New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy signed S2986 into law, which will require hotels with over 100 guest rooms to provide panic devices to their hotel employees **by the end of 2019** to protect them from violent acts while performing housekeeping duties.
